We can rest in the boat with Jesus relaxing in His love…Give it ALL to God
John 14:27 (KJV)27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
I find my blessing everywhere I look. I Thank God every day for what I have in my children, my family, my friends and for my many blessing. For a while I could only think about what I didn’t have. I started reading the Bible and started a journal, I had to turn somewhere and that is where I turned to. I am so glad I did! I understand now that I am not suppose to worry about the things I was, I put it in Gods hands and let him lead me to where I am suppose to be. Of course you have to put effort into it , you have to do your part too. And you have to trust in Him to bring forth what you need. You will feel soooo much more at peace. I am not going to stress anymore, because in the end, as long as I do my part, he will come through for me. So, if anyone reading this is stressing over anything, remember to put it in Gods hands.
When we take things into our hands we forfeit the blessing of God, we are no different from the world (which does not know God) and we open the door to all kinds of evil and problems. When we put things in God’s hands we can enter into His rest, live in His peace, receive His joy and He is able to settle things both inside us and outside of us. The more we realize that God is much better at handling things than we are the better off we will be in every aspect of our lives. When we try to take things into our hands, we take things out of God’s hands. Many times people wonder why God is not doing anything. Sometimes God is saying, “Why don’t you give it over to me and let me handle it?” God has given us the grace to let things go. We should never underestimate the power of our prayers and our ability to speak life into situations and people. We can rest in the boat with Jesus relaxing in His love. He settles things both inside our hearts and brings quiet to the outside trials. Count it all joy when you enter into various trials. Our faith is made pure as gold in these times. His promises never fail.
Do you need more energy to run your race? Is your strength depleted? Drop to your knees and spend some one-on-one time with God. Get to know Him better and see if He doesn’t bring you more inner strength.
Jeremiah 17:5(KJV) 5Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
