Begin With Joy

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
James 1:2-3
God tells us to expect trials. If we choose to respond to trails with a good attitude, then the james1_2_3slhtest or struggle we are going through will refine our faith. Our outlook determines outcome and attitude determines action. As a believer we remain “under construction” until we take our final breath here on earth. Bottom line Satan fights us, the world opposes us, and we have to simply look at trials through the eyes of faith. Instead of complaining about our struggles, we need see them as opportunities for growth. Hard-hitting times can teach us perseverance. You will not know the depth of your character until you see how you respond under pressure. It is easy to be kind to others when everything is going well, but can you be kind to others when you feel everything is falling apart. Developing patience and character though our trials will require us to trust God, and obey. Satan cannot overcome the Christian who knows his Bible and understands the purposes of God while completely leaning and trusting Him. To end with joy, you must begin with joy.
